Welcome

Stonemason's Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage situated in the picturesque & quaint old fishing village of Little Haven, nestled at the southern end of St Brides Bay within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This un-commercialised but vibrant village boasts a fabulous sandy, sheltered beach and is home to three welcoming local pubs: The Castle, The Swan and St. Brides Inn, all of which serve good food and local brews. There is also a beach-side tea room - the Corner House Café, and a delightful deli and local produce gift shop - Lobster & Môr - selling fresh crab and lobster, as well as an active boating community with a water sports hire shop.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path stretches for 186 miles of glorious Welsh coastline and passes through the village, giving access to stunning cliff-top scenery. During low tide, you can walk north around a hollowed-out cliff-point and past rockpools to Broad Haven with its larger sandy Blue Flag beach, perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle-boarding. Here you will also find a well-stocked general store, post-office, a further selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Broad Haven also has a surf school where visitors can hire wetsuits, surfboards, bodyboards and kayaks and a well-equipped water sports centre. A few miles along the coast you will find a quirky dining pub - The Druidstone Hotel - perched on the edge of the cliffs  with superb views over St Brides Bay.

The Puffin Shuttle Bus service allows you to venture further afield taking in some of the other beautiful beaches, heading north to Druidstone, Nolton Haven and Newgale or south to Mill Haven and St Bride’s Bay. Discover the sandy expanses of Musselwick Sands and Marloes Sands and the town of Dale, renowned for its sailing community. The Puffin and Manx shearwater colonies on Skomer Island are a must-see for nature lovers, with trips running from Martins Haven. Further afield, discover the surfer’s paradise of Newgale beach, the picturesque harbour of Solva, Britain’s smallest city of St David’s, with its stunning cathedral and art galleries, Pembroke Castle - the birthplace of Henry VII and the colourful, picturesque town of Tenby.

If adventure is your thing, then look no further! The adrenaline-fuelled sport of coasteering was born in Pembrokeshire and involves donning a wetsuit before leaping off a cliff and swimming around the coast to clamber up salt-water washed rocks to do it all again! If you prefer to stay dry then the Celtic Trail West, Lon Teifi Trail and the off-road trails at the Stackpole Estate are a favourite with cyclists or follow the circular Haven's Trail to Haverfordwest, passing by Roch Castle. For those who enjoy golf, there are several excellent courses in the county.

Favourite Pembrokeshire attractions include Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park, Manorbier Castle and The Dinosaur Park. There are farmers’ markets and antique fairs, triathlons, and festivals celebrating food, music and literature. If it interests you then you’re likely to find a version of it in Pembrokeshire.

There are so many reasons to love a holiday in Little Haven whether you bring the kids for a summer holiday at the seaside or enjoy the solitude of visiting in the autumn and winter. We look forward to welcoming you to our coastal holiday cottage in Little Haven, Pembrokeshire.
